Mr. Tyler James Sanders passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Age 29 years. Tyler was born on November 1, 1995, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Connie J. Sanders and James N. Wheeler.

Tyler was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he attended Buena Vista schools, later transferring to Saginaw Public, and graduating from Arthur Hill High School. Tyler was employed at Wolverine Human Services in Vassar, Michigan, until being diagnosed with cancer. He enjoyed watching basketball, football, music videos, and different drama TV shows. Tyler was a kind and loving person with a huge heart.

Tyler leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Connie J. Sanders and James N. Wheeler; grandmother, Willie Bell Johns; sisters, Tantaneisha Spellman and Ty’Shea Calhoun; brothers, Antoinne L. Sanders, Dominique T. Sanders, Duane Simmons, Marese Belvin, Mitchell Jones Jr., Jawaun Calhoun Jr., Adonis Liles, Tyler Dillard, Deon Conway, Al Wicker, DonQuavis Lindsey, and Marshawn Burnell; three nieces; one nephew; one great-niece; four great-nephews; three aunts, favorite aunt, Jacqueline A. Sanders, Valerie (Clarence) White, and Deborah Henry; two great-aunts, Rose Mary Sanders and Lillie Mae Sangster; uncles, DeEddie W. (Leona) Sanders, James C. (Donna) Sanders, and Steve Sanders; great-uncle, Delendar (Evelyn) Holloway, Michael (Patrice) Anderson, and Willie Rayner; favorite cousins, Sandra Faye Sanders, Marcus T. Sanders, Quentin R. Sanders, Jeremy Sanders and Maya Harper;  sister-cousins, Andrea and Amaris Sanders, and Quanika Williams; two of his close friends, Squally and Chino Chacon; many other relatives and friends including special friends of the family, Helen Haynes, Cynthia J. Young, Latoya Young-Arthur, LeTavia Young, and Denisha Felder.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. and Elzonea E. (Holmes) Sanders, and uncles, Jerry and MacArthur Sanders.

The family would like to express special thanks to; the Care Team at U of M Rogel Cancer Center, MMR, Covenant HealthCare Cooper and Harrison, and others who brought him this far.
