Mr. Tyrell Pettway proceeded on his Heavenly journey on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 21 years. He was the first of four children born to Carolyn Denise Pettway and Arthur Newcombe, Sr. He was born on June 25, 1998 in Lansing, Michigan.

Tyrell was raised in Lansing, Michigan. He attended school in the Lansing School District; obtaining his GED with his hard work. Tyrell like to play basketball with his siblings. He loved his family very much.

He leaves to cherish his memory his 4-month old baby boy, Kyrie; parents, Carolyn Denise Pettway and Arthur Newcombe, Sr.; stepfather, Richard Morgan, Sr.; grandparents, Ruthie Shaw, James Patterson, Arthur Smith, Linda Newcombe-Smith; great-grandparents, Charles Newcombe, Chicago, Illinois and Mary Smith; sisters, Tyliah Pettway and Ce’miya Pettway; brother, Arthur Newcombe, Jr.; 3 stepbrothers; niece and nephew; 7 aunts, Anita Major, Laneka Spencer, Katrice Nelson, Quanhele Nelson, Jasmine Nelson, Katrina Patterson and Renee Howell; 6 uncles, Bobby Pettway, Jeffrey Pettway, Charles Shaw, Daniel Newcombe, Dominique Johnson and Jamal Nelson; many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends including his special love and mother of his baby boy, Mariah Cancino.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents and 2 great aunts.
