Valencia Welch

Ms. Valencia Welch passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her residence. Age 56 years. She was born April 25, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Earl and Mildred Welch.
Valencia was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan who had previously worked in the restaurant and housekeeping industry before her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, home decorating, eating home cooked meals and spending time with her family. Valencia loved the Lord and her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Corey (Keosha) Welch; three grandchildren, Corey Jr., Torrance and Korianna Welch; her mother, Mildred Welch; one sister, Evalene (Reverend James) Hodge; two brothers, Earl (Linda) Welch and Stanley (Maria) Welch; several nieces and nephews; three aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins; many other relatives and friends including her special friends, Ben, Elaine Jones, Edie Bonner and Betty Salmon.
Valencia was preceded in death by her father, Earl Welch, one sister, Cora Welch and one brother, Leon Welch.
Visitation: Friday, March 6, 2015 - 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
