Victor Sr. 'Pee Wee' Parson

Victor Lee Parson PeeWee, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Saint Marys Medical Center. Age 62 years. He was born June 2, 1953, to James and Bertha (Evans) Parson in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Victor confessed Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church, Vicksburg, Mississippi under the leadership of Rev. Joe Williams. He relocated to Saginaw, Michigan in March of 1984. Victor loved sitting in his yard under the tree, hanging with his friends, especially his nephews, telling his famous stories and watching wrestling, oooh weee. His presence will definitely be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his nine children, Victoria Liggins of Omaha, Nebraska, Victor (Juanita) Parson Jr., Yolanda Parson, Joseph Parson, James Parson, Marcie Parson, Stephanie Parson all of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Natasha OBrien and DeShawn Crawford of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Roland, Jacqueline, Joyce and Tyshon Liggins of Omaha, Nebraska, Britney Johnson, Victor Parson, III, Jessica Parson, Kierra Parson, Ashton Parson, Yolanda Parson and Cecil Hayes all of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Tristan OBrien, Deshawn Jr. and Keshawn Crawford of Saginaw, Michigan; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Jenneffe Parson Stewart Sudder, Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Joe Kelly Parson, Vicksburg, Mississippi; one aunt, Evelyn Rice, Greenwood, Mississippi; special niece and nephews, Michelle, Fred, Billy and Victor Stewart; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including special friends, Oscar Daniels, Tony Farr and Dorothy Archambeau.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents James and Bertha Parson, Sr., brothers, John L. Parson, Sr. and James Parson, Jr., granddaughter, Kryston Parson, sister-in-law, Vera Parson, and brother-in-law, Bill Stewart.
The family would like to express special thanks to our extended family, our many friends and our church family for your phone calls, food, being go-fers and the countless acts of kindness shown to us during our time of bereavement, especially his sister Sudder, niece, Michelle and nephew, Fred for their continued support of Victor, and to Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
