Victoria Abuan Caccam

Victoria Abuan Caccam passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare- Cooper. Age 73 years. She was born January 8,1939 in Naguilian LaUnion, Philippines to Timoteo and Albina Caccam, who preceded her in death.
She was a resident of Bridgeport Township since 1968. She was a active and dedicated member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish since 1968. Victoria earned her Bachlelor of Science degree from Philippine Normal University and a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University. She taught elementary school in Ohio and the Philippines, retiring from the Saginaw Board of Education in 2005. Victoria was active and initiated grandparent programs at Charles C. Coulter Elementary School. She was an active and past president of P.A.N.E.M. (Philippino Association of Northeastern Michigan). Victoria enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, playing cards, reading, traveling, playing the piano and singing. She was a kind, caring and loving person and always greeted you with a warm smile. Victoria loved roses and orchids. She loved and cared for her children and had a great appreciation for her family and her church family. Victoria prayed daily with her rosary.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Carolina A. Caccam, Patricia A. Obcemea; one brother, Sofronio A. Caccam; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews here and abroad.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Felipe A. Caccam, Maria C. Flora, Joaquin A. Caccam, Visitation A. Caccam, Aida A. Caccam.
