Mr. Vincent Beanie Gomez passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at his residence. Age 54 years. He was born November 18, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jose and Trinidad Gomez.
Vincent was baptized at St. Joseph Parish. He attended Saginaw Public Schools and he also attended Delta College to study auto mechanics. He loved his trade of working as a mechanic. Vincent loved Mexican music, dancing and playing the accordion. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching football. His favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. Vincent was an excellent handyman who built several garages throughout Saginaw. He loved spending time with his sisters and especially loved their cooking. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his companion, Barbara Clements; two daughters, Sylvia (Manuel) Cirilo and Catalina (Andres) Beltran; three sons, Vincent Gomez Jr., Angelo (Danielle) Gomez and Alejandro (Denise) Gomez; two stepchildren, Tony Syed and Alicia Cuellar; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Christopher Geese Jr.; three sisters, Belia (Jaime) Vega, Esther (Abel) Osuna and Maria (Joe) Trevino; two brothers, Jose (Francis) Gomez Jr. and John (Theresa) Gomez; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; many other relatives and friends.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Trinidad Gomez.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to A&D Hospice Healthcare, Cornerstone Christian Center, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
