Virginia Mitchell

April 2, 1961 — March 12, 2021

Ms. Virginia Lee Mitchell was born on April 2, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee to Irma Lean Mitchell. She won her race on March 12, 2021 Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital of Saginaw, Michigan.

Virginia was a graduate of Saginaw High School. She enlisted in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge upon completion of her military service. Virginia loved being with her family, especially her mother. They enjoyed going to Bingo together. Virginia also enjoyed barbecuing; she did the meats, and her mom did the sides. She always said that she and her mom were a package deal, and nothing could be better than that. Those words were so true. Virginia loved going out to eat with her friends, Ronald and Tony Garcia. She will be truly missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her mother, Irma L.
