Wanda Pipkins-Shacks

Mrs. Wanda Pipkins-Shacks, the daughter of Geraldine Mack and Robert James Pipkins, was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 26, 1966. She was called home to be with the Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the age of 53 years.

Wanda was a graduate of Buena Vista High School, “Class of 1985.” She was employed with Schiavone Enterprises for ten years until her illness. Wanda attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnie Edwards. She was a faithful member and served in various ministries.

Wanda loved going to the club and was definitely the life of the party. She loved to travel and make all the plans after arriving at the destination. She will truly be missed.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Pipkins; brother, William Parham, Jr.; stepfather, Ezzard C Mack; grandparents, Cliff and Lucille Allen, Fannie Canada; aunt, Pam Canada; uncles, Rufus Pipkins, Joseph Morgan; best friends, Melissa William, Theresa Jones and Paulette Brow.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Anthony Shacks; two daughters, Geraldine and Dawanda Jones; son, Demetrius Joiner; stepdaughter, Diamond Doss; three grandchildren, Demarrius Jones, Danielle Woods, Maria Sanchez; mother, Geraldine Mack;
two sisters, Felicia Pipkins and Tracey Parham; sister cousins, Sylvia and Lavonia Parham; brothers, Donnel (Donnell) Blaylock, Alton Smith; niece, Kiemetha Randle; nephews, Jesse Randle Jr., Donnell Blaylock Jr.; aunts, Charlie Mae Parham, Debra Marlow, Gloria Bryant, Barbara Pipkins, Louise Mannie, and Joe Ann; uncles, William Sr., Richard, Petey, Kenny, Dirreck, David, Curtis Parham, Evette (Renee) Pipkins, Eddie Duane (Deborah) and Paul (Debbie) Miller; many other relatives and friends including special friends Felicia Jackson, Daralene Pullman, Randle Family, Alton Smith Jr., Macro Reed and family.
