Wanta Lee Atkins

Wanta Lee Atkins passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at her residence. Age 55 years. She was born September 8, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to William Lee and Bessie Mae Brewer.
She was an active member of New Morning Star Church and held onto her strong belief in God and the power that He holds.
Wanta leaves to cherish her memory three children, Tamika Brewer (Roosevelt), Tiffany Brewer (Jermaine), Torrian Atkins all of Saginaw, MI; ten grandchildren, Demarkese, Choyce, Markiesha, Ariyana, Jaylen, Destinee, Jayla, Thomesha, Makia and Torrian Jr.; one great-grandchild, Chozon McCray; four sisters, Joyce West, Dorothy Thomas, Marilyn Ginn, Brycandes (Trevis) Ruffin; one brother, William (Linda) Brewer all of Saginaw, MI; aunts, Odessa (John) Mangum, Bea (Luther) Strong Portland, OR, Endia Louden, New York, NY, Earlene Anderson, Pearl (James) Wright, Saginaw, MI, Betty Joe and Beverly Turner, Lima, OH; uncles, Robert Turner, Portland, OR, James, Robert, Howard all of Saginaw, MI, David, Dennis, Jessie, Larry, Stanley, Lindsey Turner, all of Lima, OH; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, Leslie D. Jackson and Sharay Browning; two godchildren, Tawanna McKinney and Veronica Anderson; two god-grandchildren, Dontrell Tinsley, Kiara Hamilton.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all who sent expressions of love and sympathy during our time of bereavement.
