Ms. Wanta Bovan Taylor passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at her residence. Age 77 years. She was born November 25, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee to Howard F. Taylor and Lottie Mae Bovan.
Wanta dedicated her life to the Lord at an early age. She was a 1956 graduate of Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Michigan. During her years of employment, Wanta held secretarial positions at Career Opportunities Center, Saginaw Career Complex, Trojan & Trojan Law Firm and New Prospective. She enjoyed playing cards, making people laugh and reading her bible daily. Her favorite song was Zoom by the Commodores. Wanta was a beautiful person with a lot of love in her heart for others. Her presence will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter and one son, Trina and Encore Morrow; a special daughter-in-law, Linda Tyler; grandchildren, Trinton Choyce, Stephanie Anderson, Quentia Taylor, Talitha, Isabelle and Jarius Morrow; a host of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Frank Taylor Jr. and Todd Taylor Sr.; three nieces, Victoria Foster, Jamica and Todd Nita Taylor; three nephews, Howard Frank Taylor III, Todd Taylor Jr. and Dominque Taylor; one uncle, Charles Bovan Sr.; cousins, Charles Bovan Jr. and Lojuana Stevens; two sisters-in-law, Jammie Taylor and Darnita Hodge; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Emma Brown, June Bradley and John Choyce.
Wanta was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Sr. and Lottie Taylor, one son, Quentin Taylor Sr.
