Wendell Nathaniel Haney Jr. passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024. Age 45 years. Wendell was born on June 22, 1979, in Saginaw Michigan to Zenobia Haney and Wendell Haney.
Wendell resided in Saginaw MI and lived with his eldest child Shyanne Haney. He was employed at The Exit Restaurant as a cook in Birch Run, MI, and Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth. He prepped food at Burger King and Taco Bell in Defiance Ohio.
Wendell had many hobbies such as fishing, riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, four-wheelers, swimming, hanging out with friends and family, and collecting hats. Wendell had many interests, such as sports, specifically football, fishing, cooking, and looking at vehicles in his free time. He had many characteristics that included being ambitious, uplifting, determined, resilient, leadership, reliable, kind, funny, brave, and proud. Wendell was a family man, who valued his family dearly.
Wendell leaves to cherish his memory his spouse RaDeshia Derosia, Saginaw, Flint, MI; four daughters, and two sons, Shyanne Haney, Shailee Haney, Shaylin Haney, Shayla Haney, Wendell Haney III, Nathaniel Haney; father, Wendell (Avon)Haney; one sister, Kiaira Haney; two brothers, Jamal Haney, and Jovon Haney; three nieces, A’Vayla Myles, Kaydence Garret, and Amiya Gardner; four nephews, Angelo Myles Jr., Ashton Myles, Jamal Haney-Rendon Jr., and Zaylen Haney; five aunts, Joanne( Artie) Short, Shirley (Gary) Branch, Rebecca Lathon, Stephanie Lathon, and Charlotte Nash; six uncles, Johnnie Porter, Jeffery (Elaine) Moore, Orlando Lathon, Celester (Latondra) Lathon, Arnell Williams, and Tony Springer; many cousins, one brother-in-law, Angelo Myles; a host of other, relatives and friends; including special/best friends: James Townsend, Quincy Townsend, Tim Grunden, Chris Haidler, Melissa Bargas, Joel Arndt, and Jeff Feeder.
Wendell was preceded in death by his mother Zenobia Haney, aunt, Christine Springer, uncles, Joseph Porter, Robert, Perchell Nash, and James Haney, grandmothers, Faye Williams, and Gloria Lathon, grandfathers, Ollie Williams, Paster Lathon, Fleming Porter, J.B. Haney, and Fleming Porter, great grandmothers, Zenobia Birden, and Merdell Easter.
