Wendell Taylor

Wendell Taylor went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at University of Michigan-Health System. Age 62 years. He was born January 24, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Alonzo Taylor and Essie Taylor Sr.
Wendell was employed at Delphi for 31 years before retiring. Wendell accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and became a faithful member of Old Town Christian Outreach Center where he served as an usher at the early morning service.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Eloise Taylor of 32 years; three children, DeVona Gilbert, Wendell Lee Taylor Jr, Crystal Taylor all of Saginaw; six grandchildren, Kylin Gilbert, Bruce Jones Jr., Wendell Lee Taylor III, Ciara Taylor, Rekiya Taylor and Xavier Taylor; his siblings, Joseph (Delores) Williams, Nadine Harrison, Alonzo (Barbara) Taylor Jr., James Taylor,
and Gloria (David) Dixson, one sister-in-law Clara Smith, God daughters, Tonja and Tamara Johnson. many nieces, nephews, great nieces and cousins, other relaives and friends including special friends Robert (Beagle) Holmes, Betty Johnson, Luella, George and Leroy Moncrief.
Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Essie Taylor Sr.; sisters, Ora Dee Foster and Goldie; brothers- in- law, Jerry and Johnny Wilkerson and Johnnie Smith.
