He was known for rewarding them with “Lemon Head” (candy) for doing an excellent job. Wesley required them to use their minds as well as their hands. The principal and teachers also enjoyed having him assist with the students.

Wesley was gifted in many areas and one of his accomplishments was that he learned how to weld and fabricate. His greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

Wesley was a very private person, but he was also loving, caring, and concerned husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; to know him was to love and respect him.
