William Badgett

William Badgett of Lansing, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his residence. Age 70 years. He was born October 6, 1943 in Pinola, Mississippi to Willie Badgett and Mary Allbriton.
Mr. Badgett graduated from high school in Pinola, Mississippi and served in World War II. William attended Lansing Community College and was a retiree of General Motors. William was a devoted son, brother, father and friend. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Imari Badgett, Fay Fay Walker and Lakisha Lindsey; one son, Julian Badgett; the mother of his two children, Jacqueline Allen; four sisters, Susie, Willie Ruth, Rossetta and Julia Ree Berry; three brothers, Vernell, Arvell and Melvin (Josh); several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Badgett.
