William "Billy" Edward Berry

Mr. William “Billy” Edward Berry was born on March 20, 1961 in Tallulah, Louisiana. He gained his wings on September 16, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

His parents, James and Elizabeth Berry, brought him to Saginaw at a young age. Billy attended Saginaw Public Schools, and honorably served in the United States Army. Bill loved life, laughter and spending time with family. His presence will be truly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his lifelong companion, Patricia West; 3 daughters, Shila Smith (Antuoine Dews, Sr. son-in-law), Baltimore, Maryland; Makiya Sturdivant, of Lilesville, North Carolina, and Maliya Berry of Saginaw; 1 son, Samon Berry Chisolm of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Destiny and Antuoine, Jr. Dews of Baltimore, MD; Raiquan Burns, Jayden and Jamilia Sturdivant, Lilesville, North Carolina; 4 sisters, Annette Chambers, Sacramento, California, Cheryl Diane (Leroy) Bell, Albion, Michigan, Linda (Larry) Adams, and Ernestine (George) Moncrief, Saginaw, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special families and friends include Curtis Slaughter, James Hullett, George Goodman, Henry Burns, Anthony and Robert Brown, Desi McClung, Rosemary Mauldin, Rev. Henry Thomas, Sanders, Brown, Bowman, Bailey, and Smith families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Berry, Jr., grandparents, Ida and Louis Brown. Uncles, Louis, William, and Joe Brown; aunts, Cleotha Sanders, Anna Booker, and many others near and dear.
