William C Clifton

Mr. William C. Clifton (Rock) went home to rest with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 57 years. He was born November 29, 1952 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Willie D. and Bessie (ODaniels) Clifton.
William confessed Christ and is now resting peacefully with Him. He was employed as a Truck Driver for Buena Vista School District. He loved his family and cherished his grandchildren. He was a people person who never met a stranger, always willing to help others. If you could not find him, he was probably fishing.
William married Karon Singletary May 25, 2001 and to this union he leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Kandace (LaMarcus) Wirrick, Houston, TX, Latavia Clifton, William Clifton, Saginaw, MI, Ndegwa Brown, Bay City, MI, Tanyia (Derrick) Times, Atlanta, GA, ShaQuan Singletary, Syracuse, NY, Shala Singletary, Bay City, MI; mother, Bessie (Eddie) Peoples, Saginaw, MI; brothers, Aubrey (Alice) Clifton, Eddie L. Jr. (Tomieka) Peoples, Ronnie Clifton, Pierre Clifton, Bytheville, AR; sisters, Cassie M. Wirrick, Saginaw, MI, Diane Cody, Tara Clifton, Houston, TX, Cassandra Clifton, Atlanta, GA, Jackie Clifton, Centerville, VA, Marilyn Clifton, Veverly Clifton, Sally Clifton of Blytheville, AR; many other special nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of University of Michigan hospital.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karon Clifton; father, Willie D. Clifton; and grandparents.
