William H. Middleton (Lansing)

Mr. William Henderson Middleton passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems, Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan. Age 63 years. He was born on June 3, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of James and Juanita Middleton.

William attended Eaton Rapids High School. He loved to cook and became a Chef, working until he became ill. William loved to joke with family and friends, barbecue, going to the casino and had a love of sport cars.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Jason McFarland, Erica (Mario) Montgomery, Destiny McElrath, Myra (Brandon) McElrath, Darnell (Joy) Murchison, and William D. (Paige) Middleton, Sr.; stepchildren, Shug, Lashocka, Latoya, Shalona, and Ebony; grandchildren, Patrick Ragland, Desmond Griffin, William D. Middleton, Jr., James R. Middleton, Makayla Sasser, Scarlett P. Middleton, De-vonna Watts, Nevaeh Watts, and Breea McElrath; godsons, Tyrone Gordon and Chris Brown; goddaughters, Shaquala Hinton and Shyanne Green; sisters and brothers, Sarah James, Juanita Middleton, Vivian (Boko), Valerie (Ed) Skidmore, Ron (Tina) Middleton, Paul Middleton, and Floyd (Patricia) Middleton; special aunt, Diana (R.C.) Pickens; special cousin, Loma; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Debbie Coley and Yvonne Dunbar. As well as a very, very special friend, Marcus Leroy West.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia and brothers, Tommy and James.
