Chaplin William Nelson Murphy, Sr. Billy of Saginaw, Michigan formerly of Lansing, Michigan passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Mother Teresa House. Age 71 years. He was born June 29, 1942 to Lena Bell Cain and James Edsel Murphy in Dallas, Texas.
Billy accepted Christ as his savior at 18 years of age. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1962 where he met this cute little thing in a yellow dress. A donut and a cup of coffee led to the marriage of William and Jacquelyn Murphy. From this union two children were born, Deitra Murphy of Lansing, Michigan and William Murphy, Jr. of Highland Heights, Kentucky.
Mr. Murphy leaves to cherish his memory the lady in the yellow dress, Jacqueline Murphy; his two children, Deitra and William Murphy, Jr.; several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and friends. He also leaves his special friends, Patrice Williams and family, along with Mr. Bills little buddy, Jurnee Williams.
