Our beloved father, William P. Hudspeth passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Age 84 years. He was born May 3, 1927 in Murray, Kentucky to William P. Hudspeth Sr. and Mattie Bell Dixon. He made peace and gave his life to the Lord many years ago.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Our father worked at Murray Wholesales House for 19 years before moving to Saginaw, Michigan. He retired from Central Foundry (GM) . He married Murrel Louise Vandyke. She preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Richard Knuckles, Gregory Hudspeth, Pearl Louise and Norma Jean Hudspeth all of Saginaw, Michigan; three grandchildren, Cathy Henderson, LaKeshia Henderson, Mathew Hudspeth; two great-grandchildren, Devontre' Tyus and Deontae Tyus; one brother, Donald Hudspeth; three sisters-in-law, Florence Hudspeth, Murray, Kentucky, Linda Hudspeth, Elizabeth Hudspeth both of Saginaw, Michigan; a very special nephew, Charles Perry; many nieces, nephews, other beloved relatives and friends, including special friends, Michael Huell and Christine Thompson;
He was preceded in death by a son, William Earl Hudspeth, three sisters, Emma Bell Taylor, Margaret Perry, Thelma Miller, two brothers, Lewis and Richard Hudspeth, two brothers-in-law, Charles Perry and Woodrow Miller.
