Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Willie Edward Boatman Jr. was born January 8, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Willie Edward Boatman, Sr. and Tempie Mae Stafford. God called his name on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 61 years.
Willie attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a student athlete. He was an all-around athlete but basketball is where he truly excelled. He was a faithful employee at SVRC Industries for over twenty years. Two of his favorite things were working and visiting churches.
Willie loved to dance and listen to music. His favorite group was The Temptations, and his favorite songs were Cloud Nine and Ball of Confusion. He also loved family gatherings, cookouts, eating tacos, and greens made by his sister. He taught all his nieces and nephews how to shoot dice.
