Willie Leon Jackson

Willie Leon Jackson was born August 28, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Josephine Jackson. He passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 67 years.

Willie moved to Saginaw, Michigan when he was a young boy and was raised in Saginaw by his mother. He graduated from Saginaw High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army for four years.

Upon returning home from the Army, Willie started a family and that started a new chapter in his life. He loved his family and treasured his time with them above all, especially his grandkids. He loved to sing and have a good time and make people laugh. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Being around family and friends was all he needed. He will truly be missed and forever remembered.

Willie was preceded in death by his companion and mother of his children, Gloria Jean Wiley; mother, Josephine Jackson; grandmother, Leola Donald; uncles, Clarence Jackson, Johnny, Hosea, Jerry, Jimmy Donald; aunt, Clara Boles.

He leaves to cherish precious memories twin daughters, Gloria Janella, Gloria Janel Wiley; two sons, Terrence (Cynthia) Brewer, Deon L. Wiley; grandchildren, Rick, Regina Simpson; Jomanne, Cinteria, DeMario Brewer, Tamarik Heart, Deon Jr., CorTarrius, DeAndre, Shernice, Teondra, Shardae, Dericka, TreVall Wiley, Brandon Breckenridge, Howard, Cameron Thomas, Danniya Monroe; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two aunts, Ernestine Burley, Zarroh Camel; cousins, Gary Gamel, Tory Jackson, Larry, Johnny, Jimmy Donald, Opal, Shanique, O.C., Antoine, Maurice Burley; many other relatives and friends, including special friends Freddy Chapman and Curtis Brown.
