Willie Walter Jackson (Wild Bill) passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his residence. Age 64 years. He was born April 4, 1948 in Lexington, Mississippi to Jimmie O. Jackson Sr. and Mae Betty (Jackson) Smith.
Mr. Jackson was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Willie enjoyed fishing, listening to Maze, working in his garden and watching TCT.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer A. Jackson LLMSW,MSA; one daughter, Rose (Kyle) Beckmon; four sons, William MacAyles Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Everett (Shelia) Jackson, Paducah, Kentucky, Willie (Autumn) Jackson Jr.; one grandchild, Everett OShay Jackson, Springfield, Illinois; seven sisters, Joann (Charles) Matthews, Nora Seay, Mary (Willie) Brewer, Teola Hegwood, Carol (Willie) Matlock, Betty (Larry) Walker, Sheree Jackson; two brothers, Jimmie O. (Rosie) Jackson Jr., Tommie L. (Sylvia) Jackson; nineteen nieces; eight nephews; his mother-in-law, Dorothy L. Everett; sister-in-law, Gail Choyce; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Thompson, Reginald Choyce; many other relatives and friends including a very special sister-in-law, Yolanda Thompson, special cousin, Sherman Johnson, special friend, Charles Pittman.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Betty Jackson; a daughter, Wendy Jackson; three nieces, Meco Brewer, Romana Jackson, Elizabeth Hegwood; one nephew, Randy Jackson; one sister, Maggie Jackson (Prather).
