Wilola Ann Williams

This the "Home Going" of Wilola Ann Williams. This is an occasion to celebrate and rejoice because our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend has gone home to be with the Lord at her home, age 66 years. Wilola was born in Saginaw, MI the daughter of the late Annie May James and Otis Cecil Allen, Sr. She married James T. Williams in 1965. On June 29, 2008 Wilola married her companion, best friend and soul mate of 38 years, Purnell Williams. Wilola was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and served on the usher board and Pastor's Nurse. Before her illness, she enjoyed playing bingo.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband Purnell Williams; one son, Randolph Michael McClaine (Keelah); two step-children whom she raised as her own, Yvette Williams (Rodney) Fairley, Robert, LA and Curtis Williams, Bay City, MI; five grandchildren, LaMarry Darnesha Ann Ray, Idris, Nesha Toins, Darnell Melvin and Elijah Fairly; a great-grandson, Khylan LaQuez Ray; her sisters, Angela James, Rose Marie Bowman, Gladys McPherson and Shirley Scott; her brothers, Rodney (Linda) Robinson, James E. Hardy, Jr. and Ira Weathers; sisters-in-law, Barbara McGowan, Stella Johnson, June Marshall, Ernestine Williams and Betty Beasley; Brothes-in-law, Roy L. White, Columbus Williams, Rev. John Williams, Sr., George and Arthur Williams; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
