Our beautiful angel, Miss Za’Ryia Karmoni Reed, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Za’Ryia was an angel to all she met. She was nice to everyone and always had a smile on her face. Za’Ryia was loving and caring with a beautiful, joyful spirt, and giving heart.
Za’Ryia never allowed her family and friends to leave her presence without a hug. She would brighten your day with her beautiful smile. She attended North Saginaw Charter Academy and was preparing to enter the fourth grade. Za’Ryia was intelligent and well-loved among her peers and teachers; she was also a great teacher’s helper.
Za’Ryia was independent for her age. She cooked bacon, toast, eggs, and noodles. She also helped her mother, aunts and grandmother clean their homes. She loved watching sitcoms, reading, singing, dancing, and doing Tik Tok videos. She loved caring for animals. Her bright light among us will truly be missed but we will now look to the bright light in the sky as she shines down upon us.
Za’Ryia leaves to cherish her memory her beloved parents, Lanyia Jones and Jarriel Reed; three sisters, Zacari Reed, Jordyn Jackson, and Jalia Tete; two brothers, Sevin Enciso and Cameron Reed-Young, both of Saginaw, Michigan; grandparents, Carlinda Bentley, Dixon Jones, Dafel Reed, Kenny Woodhouse; great-grandmother, Marjorie Reed; aunts, Kanada Reed, Zantillya Reed, and De’Asia Woodhouse, all of Georgia; special aunt, Krystal Brown of Georgia, and two aunts that were more like mothers, Cherrish Bentley and Ta’Kyia Jones of Saginaw, Michigan; four uncles, Vestie and Quintel Reed, both of Georgia, Donta Griffin and Quinten Watley, both of Michigan; godmother; Tracy Ellis; godfathers, Dennis Hoskins and William Davis; special cousin, Demyla Jackson; many other loved ones and friends, including best friends, Lilliana, Joy, and Londyn.
Za’Ryia was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vestie Bradley and great-aunt Sylvia Braddock.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Darwanda Okenwa, Tionna Watkins, Chelsea Jane-Shaw and Family. Cousins Braylon Shaw and Drayzen Cotton. Two special teachers; Mrs. Londenberry and Mrs. Jackson. The family would also like to thank the Tawas First Responders, State Police, and the families who assisted in the search and rescue.
